Energy-equipment readings describe the connected power system. Network-service availability requires its own service measurements; inverter output alone does not establish that a tower's radio equipment stayed online.

During scoping, agree the equipment, supply points and reporting period, then confirm the evidence available for the review your team needs.

Which telecom power equipment can Gen318 monitor?

Gen318 can use supported connections for solar, battery, generator and grid readings. Coverage depends on the equipment model, controller access and available measurements. Local Modbus collection requires a commissioned register mapping; compatibility is reviewed for each deployment.

Does Gen318 measure telecom network uptime?

Gen318's energy-equipment readings describe the connected power system. They do not by themselves measure radio or network-service uptime. A network-availability claim needs measurements at the agreed service boundary beyond inverter output.

What happens when a telecom site's internet connection drops?

Commissioned edge nodes retain readings locally and retry synchronisation when the link returns, subject to power, storage and configuration. The cloud record remains stale while disconnected. Local buffering does not mean the remote team has live visibility.
